Please help me answer a question

Recently, i started learning how to trade forex with the help of youtube. I opened an account in the broker called IQ Options and started practicing with the demo account… So far, all my trade have been in the green, only had 4 losses so far. So my question is that is demo account the same with real money account? Because so far, as I said earlier, all my trades have been profitable. If i switch to real account, will I still be profiting if i use the strategy with my demo account? If i keep getting profit in demo account, i might start trading on my real account. Thank you guys

The price feeds through the demo account should not differ much from the price feeds on a live account but the spreads may vary more on the live account. Another possible difference is slippage with real trades compared with the theoretical fills on the demo. But, again, these should not be hugely different or frequent.

Check the regulation of your broker. If you are in Europe then the regulation is with Cysec, which does not have the best of reputations compared with UK and US regulations but is, as far as I understand, much improved nowadays.

I would also recommend searching the net for broker reviews. A quick glance seemed to show a very mixed bag of comments for this firm. Why take any kind of risk of problems with withdrawals, etc when there are so many brokers available.

Maybe try your strategy simultaneously on another demo account with a different broker and see if there is any difference in the services, regulation and reviews available.

I would say that the best option is to to your trading with a Broker that is Regulated and also a True ECN Forex Broker.
