I’m wondering if I should open a demo account now that I’m taking the elementary course or wait till I finish all the courses here before practicing what I learn theoritically. Pls what will be the best for me cos am a newbie to Forex.
Hi :), I think you should finish whole course, focus on one thing in one time. Now you need to understand how forex work, this is fundamental ( first step ). When you finish course, begin practice on demo account (second step ). Regards Greg

My firm opinion is that one should open a demo account the moment they learn the basics about how to do that. But I do have to stress that applies to demo account only.

I think that would depend on how comfortable you have become with reading charts. If you can recognize patterns and structures easily then you can start on a demo otherwise keep learning and carry on observing the market for a few months more.

I agree that it depends on how well you understand the concepts.
Yeah, complete the whole course, take notes (i made mind maps when i first started learning) and then dabble around mt4, of course that includes opening a demo account. Cheers

I advise opening a demo account initially and not even thinking. For a beginner, this is just a necessity that will help you learn to work.

finishing course is more appropriate for beginners including a demo account, but newcomers generally ignore that issue most of the time.
