Im back into trading after a year hiatus while I got married, etc. . . This is my first full week back and I am doing fairly well so far
Week of May 20th - May 25th : +25pips
My one position for the week so far was short on the EUR/USD on Tuesday as I saw a short bias towards cluster of support around the 1.3400 level (The move would also make sense as the USD tried to correct itself) I got in the market
Short Eur/Usd 1.3460/80 SL 1.3480 TP 1.3435. I nearly stopped out on Tuesday night but the overnight session did a quick bearish dip down to about 1.3417 (which triggered me in for a profit) before the the BOE minutes seemed to make the market boost bullishly bringing the GBP up over 130 pips!!!
I could have set my TP lower and still triggered a success but I played it safe not knowing for sure which way the BOE minutes would take the market. Actually I got lucky, the bearish dip was prior to the BOE minutes being released.
Anyhow, decent first trade for my new go at the market
