Hello guys
I’m a newbie trader and trying to create my own algorithm based on nononsenseforex algorithm but I don’t know how to properly tweak an indicator’s parameter. For example, the Chaikin Money Indicator has a default setting of 21 period suitable for 1D timeframe. For a lower timeframe, should I increase or reduce it? Thank you.
Hi Doctor.Kun
The NNFX style uses only 1D timeframe and doesnt work aswell with other timeframes.
But i think you can load up the indicator on other timeframes then play with the settings until you can see the confirmations lining up with the indicator.
If you go through all the videos he will explain all this and how to test and adjust the indicators

Thank you for the response Paulscaff1. I guess I just have to watch all of his videos to have better understanding of this before doing anything.
But actually I was kinda wondering if I could modify NNFX algo to suit lower timeframe because currently I don’t have enough fund for swing trading. It would be too much of a risk for me.
I dont know if it could work, maybe. I think the shorter timeframes would give too many false signals though. The NNFX style is supposed to follow long trends.
Im no expert though, im learning myself.
