Can we all agree it’s in every trader’s best interest to use a properly regulated broker rather than taking chances with some offshore shady one? I did some digging, and while most regulators focus on oversight rather than compensation, CySEC (through the Investor Compensation Fund, ICF) is actually one of the very few regulators that has facilitated real payouts to retail traders in documented cases. That alone sets it apart and shows that having a regulated broker under a recognized authority can actually make a difference when things go wrong.
