Take it easy on this great education site, one step at a time. Focus on process, not money, while you’re learning and experimenting on a demo account for a few months. Do not rush into opening a live account until you’re confident with your emotional control, as you will suffer losing trades, as does every trader on the planet. Keep risk low, do not overtrade, nor gamble.
The aim is to make higher profits than losses - which is not easy, despite what social media marketing hype would have you believe.
BTW - IMO, I consider a $500 live account should be the bare minimum to begin your trading journey. While it is possible to thrive on a smaller account it is unlikely, because the returns won’t pay for your lifestyle, so you will take higher risks and blow your account, as do 90% of newbies.
And that’s why broker firms allow newbies to open small accounts with high leverage, because they know the odds favour them. Play around with $100 and you will understand.
