Hi, guys I’m clem, I started trading last week with an instagram influencer that took me through the step of buying some bitcoin first on the app coinjar and then send some to the adress on the website iqforexcapitals! Does anyone knows wether that website is a scam?
I put 300$ and in less than a week I went up to 2300$ without doing anything, apparently she was doing everything for me and now she asks me to add an other 500$ to upgrade my account from mini to diamond because my trading signal is high and I have to pay more to continu trading or I can’t withdraw my profit and my trading is on hold …
But if pay the extra 500 I’ll have 10k profit the next day and I’ll be able to withdraw!
Might sounds ridiculous but is it a spam?
It looks really legit the website , they even sent me the certificate licence of trading but still I’m hesitating…
I would like to have some opinions .
Demand your money back - I don’t know of any legit broker who trades in this way - but we hear many people on here who have put in more and more money and then still can’t get any back.
I don’t know about that particular site - but to me teh method they are using is enough to ring HUGE BELLS !
Think about it, if you’ve made money why would you need to add more?
It’s your money, how can they say you cant withdraw?
Try to withdraw 500 and tell them to trade the rest.
Tell them your brother wants to invest $10k in you but wants to see some profit first. Convince them that he’ll invest. Ask them to withdraw $500. Then run! If they dont say hes found another company that invests like this one and he’ll invest the 10k with them instead lol. Try whatever you can.
Hi Clem,
Welcome to the forum. I think you just had a very cheap lesson in Education. $300 may seem a lot of money, but it could easily have escalated to $3,000. Please consider this to be a lesson in how NOT to treat your own money, and stay away from any service that you can’t independently validate. They say there are three things you need to do before acting. 1 Due diligence 2 Due diligence and 3 Due diligence. In the old days that translated to “common sense” which has never been too common. Nowadays, with so many different ways to avoid legalities and ownership the world is full of scammers who, if they felt you could trace them, would never do what they do.
Ask questions on here about trading Crypto - I think there is a Crypto section. I started in Crypto 3 months ago, and the first thing I did was spend a week reading articles, watching YouTube videos, and trying to sort out the truth from the BS. By the way, I love Crypto. It is like Forex on speed.
Best of luck moving forward. Use BP - it costs you nothing.
I made the effort of going through their website. Apparently, none of the tabs in the “Market” section work. The options for binary, forex, mining etc do not work, they are just buttons with no link. Such websites appear everyday on the web. It’s definitely a scam.
Try hard to get your original $300 back and in no way should you pay them anymore. Keep us updated.
Hi I want to tell you the name was Mr. deborah_ expert_ then it’s a scam. It’s a man and if you look on the website you will see he uses the college MIT for the location which means he is a worker or student. I sent 500 and supposed to profit 5600. Same story first after the email, then the hold. I told to send 1200 well I said hell no. He then said ok 200. I have searched for fake lisence on California biz site. I notified FTC and Scammers and sent screenshots and text messages. If you notice the manager on the site the women in the blue I did a photo search and her photo has been on 45 websites with different names. Fake! All of the people on Likenden about 3 people the work history is fake. This isn’t a company bit belongs to a African student who is making money while in school. I even notified MIT. Look on the website and put the address in. Today 8/26 I looked at my so-called wallet and it now says 16500. So he has the control and it’s there or just numbers to make you think it’s there. I agree I don’t believe we will get our money.
