Hi Guys,
I am currently playing around with a Demo Account, through Admiral Markets MT5 - using Stocks and Shares.
When calculating the Margin, my calculations are coming in correct - but then there is a ‘Rate’ which is added. It seems this Rate is a multiple of the Margin.
For example in the screenshot below, the ‘Rate’ is 2.8 for APPL, dividing the ‘used margin’ of £8,576.29 by the Margin works out to be what it is.
I guess there are to questions:
-
What is this Rate? I guess it’s the Broker’s Risk Multiple?
-
How do I find this Rate before putting in a Trade? The Admiral Website doesn’t show the ‘Rate’ - unless I’m missing something?
Thanks in advance!
