This question is directed mostly to intx13 (or for anyone else who knows for that matter) since he just started a thread on expert advisors and metatrader4 in general. However, should anyone also have other questions, feel free to ask them here too.
My question is about making custom trend-change candles, like the purple ones shown in the PipSurfer’s Cowabunga system. Does anyone know how to use them in MetaTrader4?
I’ve also got a question - I’ll probably discover it sometime, but incase someone is watching.
What is the code for example I want some sort of indicator like this
priceClosedabove = (on a 5 minute candle the close price is above the 10 ema value)

so when you really want to have a stuff in MT4, there are a site call codebase mql. just google something like this or open the code editor of MT4, you will find a link to that.
Then if you need a indicators, discutions related to etc… go to the mecque of coding forex-tsd.
Well i do suggest that for doing MT4 programming,should use Excel enabled features provided by FxDialogue website.Seriously using these functions for buying/selling stocks or pending of stocks can be done in more easily way by just simply entering the values in their Meta trader Excel function .Output will be executed to meta trading system if the conditions are met true.
I simply believe that this platform will be more handful for me and we can also achieve the landmarks as did by Mr.Warren Buffett
