I like this thread! And well I would personally recommend The Teachings of Don Juan(Castaneda), and the cartoon �the freak brothers�(Marvides/ Shelton) both very illustrative on daily life issues, complexities and humor
You can specially try to get �Idiots abroad� which is divided in three chapters (three different comics) and in that story you could find how Phineas(one of the Freak brothers) become rich relatively quickly
