Hi there, I’m a middle-aged Welshman who’s been fascinated by financial markets since the late '90s. I had to take a break from trading and spreadbetting stocks but I’m back, learning about forex because years ago I went on a stock trading course and all the tutors and assistants were actually trading forex rather than stocks. I went and figured.
After trying over and over again to find something ‘normal’ to do to make my fortune (as opposed to my living) and finding nothing else which a) WORKS for me; and b) works for ME, here I am putting the cash together to grubstake a forex account while I get up to speed on the business. I prefer to swing trade because I have a life.

My name Tryout . Im 20 years old college students from indonesia. I’m from Indonesia, and just recently start trading (demo). I know about forex from my friend that has start trading forex. i was pretty sceptics about the FX market because a lot of fake guru out there making a wild claim about get rich quick scheme from the FX market. I found about babypips when i try to search for forex education material.
I’m not looking to get rich, but making a little extra cash couldn’t hurt. I want to support my daily needs independently.

Weirdly, I had a dream last night that I climbed a steep, icy mountain, and on the side of the “screen” in my dream was a technical chart showing that all the right moves were in positive pip terrain on USD/EUR.
Now I’m 8 hours into an obsession. I think it’ll last? Anyway, having fun learning and thanks for the wonderful learning platform!

I am Zayed, 36 years old, from London/Kuwait, and I have just joined BabyPips for the purpose of gaining an understanding into FX. I come from a background where I have access to many wealthy individuals, Some of my network have an appetite for the markets, so I am hoping to find seasoned traders who might be interesting in managing some portfolios and perhaps creating a product together, Also, I hope to enjoy the learning experience too.
I heard about Forex some years ago. It was mythical, I ad just left highschool, te new phase of life meant learning new things. An acquaintance told me a story about a night at a club: Someone he knew pulled his phone out and withdrew a big sum so that the fun could continue. Starry eyed i did my googles, found many salesmen but nothing tangible.
There was nothing i could point to, i downloaded a random app and since i had 0 any currency to my name started trading demos, blowing them up getting discouraged and coming back, been doing that for 5 years now. Along the way i learned some jargon and some strateies that although have not made me a profitable trader yet have definitely helped me shape my decision making.
I have not dared trade real money yet as i would like to become profitable first to prove myself to myself.
I’m 24 and I’m still in the nest. Still schooling. Still depending. It’s emarrassing. It’s nauseating. I’m yet to start my life, it hurts because i had plans, lack of support perceived or otherwise may have had an impact but that doesn’t matter
I subconsciously committed to this. I view it as a means to reach financial freedom whilst i study, as a hobby whilst I’m alive and a vocation once i’ve retired

I just decided to make a huge career pivot. I have visited babypips on and off for years now but never really got to the point of making the decision to take forex seriously. This COVID era has taught me that time really is precious so I have decided to make my first million and I intend to take it from the FX market. So my first step on this journey is to surround myself with like minds hence babypis. Next step is to learn as much from the course and from everyone willing to guide me.
