I stumbled across Forex by accident. I attended a local real estate seminar and decided that the program they presented was not for me. On the way out I overheard a few gentlemen talking about options and Forex trading. I had never heard of it so I did some research and have been interested ever since. I am at a point where I am pretty much using research as a way of procrastination so this is my way of putting myself out there to take the plunge.

Hi all. Thanks for letting me in. I am really new to this trading world. My trading experiences is very limited, but am willing to explore more and hopefully to make some profit in the near future. I don’t set the unrealistic goals like becoming a millionaire in one or two years. I want to make maybe couple hundred or couple thousand extra dollars a month? Does that sound bad? I hope not. Anyway, I’ve done some study of Forex and even purchased a trading bot, but everything, including that MT4/5 platforms are so overwhelming, I don’t know how to start and I don’t understand most of the things I see. I see a lot of people on Instagram who do forex but want a fee of 235 and a monthly fee afterward so I wanted to learn on my own and make money. I landed myself in the hospital with some time on my hands and have used the extra time to start researching the stock market. So far, I have tried my hands at equities and have managed to make and lose some money. I have joined some FB and Twitter groups and have been trying to learn as much as I can. On one of my FB groups I was asking about getting a mentor and that got me a one on one with a Forex trader. I liked what he had to say, but like most things, it was going to cost money to get off the ground with him. Now that I’m out of the hospital, I have access to my computer. I have downloaded MT4 and someone pointed me to babypips to get free educational videos. So, I think I’m heading the right direction and am open to suggestions (but I do have strong BS sensors).
