I joined this site 12 years ago, I cant believe it’s been so long. One thing I know for certain, is consistency is key. if you dont track and journal yourself, you wont ever improve (I sure didnt do either). I’ve come back every once in a while, but I went to trade stocks and lost everything, not once but twice. Hoping to get back at it again and really make some money now.

hi all. i am very new to forex trading. a friend of mine introduced me n using a demo account i spend entire day looking at the screen aand made something. of course, demo profits.
i have used demo accounts since then once in a while and used a real account for a few days. made about 10 dollars from it and in my impantience, invested everything for the next trade. as it turned out, my internet package reached the limit soon after, and when i checked after paying the bill, i have lost my trade.
instead of going blindly again, I thought i would learn the basics first and searched high and low and found this place. i look forward to the things i can learn from here.
im not looking to get rich, just some spending cash on leisure activities using what i would already spend on it. buy some game offers and such.

I just went through babypip through google. Still newbie and learning forex.
Try to learn and gain as much as possible if there any potential to get extra income.
As COVID19 resulting market crash and economy went down, people getting jobless, price getting high, people like me tend to look other source of income. I see forex have the potential to do so but it also high risk. Yet, its not possible to do as it can be learn.
Its not easy for Malaysian newbie as our currency is very low vs USD that is very strong. For me, 500USD is still not cheap to invest. Hopefully, i can get something here that could help me in better strategy and gain more income.

I have been studying currencies (forex) for 8 months plus. did most of the babypips school and started studying with something else and they recommended that i complete babypips . i am still studying with a demo account. I will not open a live account until I can demo postitve.
I am having problems learning indicator backtesting. I will work my way through it somehow. I want an algorithm with good indicators so I need to learn how to backtest. good luck to all.

use demo until you are demo positive. there is another free course of instruction on the net that you need to look into. Do babypips first. then the nononsenseforex.com group
