A good friend of mine has been trading for several years and had always advised me to start my own forex journey but I never fully invested any time into it. Last year I got a great job doing what I love (content creation) but quickly realized how far away I am from financial independence. This pandemic has only continued to highlight that and I decided to finally pursue forex (among other things) as a step towards gaining financial freedom. I am here, courtesy of Reddit, to learn all I can & to make sure that forex is the right fit for me.

My name Michael Glasgow, 24yrs old, from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Firstly, I major in EEET from the University of Trinidad and Tobago where I expanded my skills into CCTV camera installation. Secondly, I see myself as being someone who wants to make money not just for material things but in a way to re-invest back into the system where I can make a lifetime income to assist myself and my family. Why forex? Well for starters all what I’ve heard, and withiness people become financially wealthy off by being a member of forex to make themselves experience of being wealthy and not working for someone else. So I said to myself, if they can do it who is me to say that it can’t happen? So I see myself ready to be that person who does not have to continue sending out resumes to employers hoping that they call me and have me work for them to make there dream/goals come to a reality when I have my own goals that I want to see become a reality.

What’s going on? My name is Kevin. I’m from Atlanta, GA. I’ve been trading in the Forex Market for 5 months now. I was in my first Investment Club at 12, dealing with Stock, and I knew I would eventually find my way into investing in adulthood.
I’ve joined the community because a friend of mine who is interested, and not even an active trader yet, told me about this space. He told me he was using it to learn about the market, and found it to be a valuable resource.
I am a martial arts instructor and competitor by day, but learning this skillset as a vehicle to fund and fuel my passions.
