I’m new to the forum. It was referred by my friend. At first I laugh because of its name but then of course you should not judge the book by its cover.
I know nothing about forex but pretty sure it works similarly to stocks trading. I was told its even riskier in forex but of course only experience would tell.
I’m here to earn big bucks definitely. However the main reason is to learn everything about trading. As I always say to myself “You can always run out of money but not knowledge”.

I live in Fairfax, Virginia (USA) and I’m new to Forex. I’m always looking for ways to regain my time and have more financial freedom, so I always thought that I would learn about Forex one day. However, after Candice B (YouTube) mentioned BabyPips in a video, I went to check out the website. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement - I immediately joined.
My tentative plan is to take my time absorbing the knowledge, make my contribution to this community and start my Forex trading journey. I hope that my success (wishful thinking) will inspire others to learn about Forex too.

I tried my hand at Trader but found it was a waste of money as they did not tell me anything I did not already know and the live training was useless and a waste of time. One of the YouTubers I follow led me to this group (forum). Ready to see where I can grow from here.

Let me start by introducing myself as Eliahs.
I’m a 16 year old high school student that wants to be a Full Time Forex Trader.
Some of my hobbies I have is the following:
<playing piano, video games, trading, I’m running a therapy discord community,
video editing, watching youtube>
These are some of my main things I do, and I often do most of these things because
I see value in them because I can always learn something from them.
For example I’m the leader of a therapy community on the platform discord. I run this
community because I think I can learn something from it while also helping others with
their problem. It is also a way for me to get happy myself, my happiness comes from others.
Now for the trading part.
It all started during a late night summer 2020. I was watching around on YouTube and came
across a video where they compared two guys life, where one of the guys was earning
$60 a day and the other guy was earning $11 000 a day. That was when I came across trading
for the first time. The guy that earned $11 000 explained that he was a day trader and an investor
in the Stock Market. I had never heard of Day Trading before so I got pretty interested in what it was.
I originally became interested in it because I thought it looked cool. I saw all these monitors with
graphs and different colors with numbers all over the place, so I’d say that the advanced look of
the Trading was what really made me interested in the first place. So I started learning during July
of 2020 how to trade stocks and I traded with Paper Trading to learn. However my interest for this
died rather quickly after July and I stopped learning until 15th of November 2020.
Because during 15th of November 2020, I came across a video called “[Day in the Life of a Millionaire Entrepreneur (25 Years Old)”. The guy in the video was apparently doing Forex Trading which reminded me of when I traded. And his life was so inspiring that I got interested again. So I decided to ask an entreprenur that I had known and chatted with before with his help. We went on a call together and he introduced me to the world of Forex Trading. He explained to me what it was and that was when I got into trading again but this time into Forex.
Since then I’ve been learning more and more and I’ve been making more profit from paper trading than what I did before, I really had more motivation this time. Even though I would say I’m not as broke as most teenagers are today, I still didn’t want to pay for a course I don’t know so much about and that’s where Babypips came in. I discovered this community today after I watched a video where a guy purposed this to be a good learning website, so I’m in here now to learn more and more.
To summon it all up, I’m a young student that wants to become a trader because I think it’s like life, some choices in life can either be good or bad, either way you learn something from it. Different choices in life gives more value than others and that’s why I get motivation from it.
I’m starting with trading now to hopefully be able to get this as a way for me to make money once school is over because I’m not really planning on going to College afterwards. And working 9-5 job is something I’m not gonna do because I won’t be able to live out of this life’s full potential.
And I hope to be learning a lot from this community!
