My name is Donald,23yrs old and from Kenya. For the last 4yrs or so Iāve had the desire to try my hand in tradingā¦but after unsuccessful plans to do so over the years, mainly from things that could have easily been avoided, like forgetfulness and being easily distracted, I found myself having forex as a by the way kind of thought. Recently a cousin of mine mentioned forex and babypips and the spark reignited. I chose to intentionally act on it unlike last time so here I am, strapped in for a journey Iām excited for and clueless aboutā¦arenāt those just the best journeys. I am looking forward to exploring all forex has in store and learning from this community while having fun at the same timeā¦seems like thereās never a dull moment here.

I was recommended to come here by my sister who seems to have a lot of time on her hands and is not juggling two jobs, family commitments etc so I thought Iād see if maybe doing this will allow me to work just one job and spend more time with my kids!

Hi there! Iām from Atlanta, Ga and Iāve been interested in trading Forex for about 2 years now. Iāve taken other courses in the past and they just asked for a lot of money without actually teaching me the knowledge and skills to be successful at trading forex. Iām interested in learning forex because in my opinion, once one learns to trade, it is a lifelong skill, one that can benefit you in multiple ways. My goal is to utilize forex as another stream of income for myself so that I can have a greater work life balance and have the option to trade forex full time, if I wanted to. I also want to leverage the knowledge and skills that I learn in forex trading and pass them on to my children to create generational wealth. Iām excited to be a part of the Babypips family!

My name is Darren, Iām new to the baby pips forum but have been trading for almost 5 years. I wrote a book called ānot my pipsā a while back about my experience in the first few years.
It took some time to become disciplined enough to eventually stick to 1 method, then build a system around it. I recently passed the FTMO challenge and verification to become a funded trader. Now, I own the YouTube channel āDecision of Powerā and Iām now helping traders learn how I trade. My trading style is somewhat different to most online. I wait for London to run the stops and then trade the New York session for continuation.
Itās been a wild ride. But one thing Iāve learned, patience and mindset is by far the most important aspect in trading.
Iām on my final few months of military service before I move into full-time trading.
