Im Lixing from Singapore. Currently working as an engineer in the oil and gas industry. Ive been introduced to this by a good friend of mine and have been attending the School of Pipsology. Im just started to learn FOREX and hoping to make this a passive income in the short term and achieve financial freedom in the long run. Not sure how this will turn out. Been told that this may be a way to quick profit and also quick finger burns. Shall see, till then!

My names troy residing out of san jose California. Is have a lot of outdoor hobbies that I would like to enjoy more ( fishing, hunting, wasting lead, and also traveling) I was hoping that getting into the forex trade to help me on this adventure. i used to sport bet alot but as we most know or how i feel that its mostly rigged or payed out by vegas, which is sad to see such great sports being corrupted.Yes I know its not a guarantee but I love to gamble and I do a lot of gambling at the casinos nearby so I mine as well do it on my spare time as well instead of wasting my driving time to get to a casinoā¦ I was going to school for my business degree but a lot of events have happened in my life that made me think about not going to school and paying for the degree. Im still 22 years young donāt want to pay a school loan so I dropped out, but I have a great job paying me at a nice wage which I know most people will kill for which I will not mention. I do have plans still having my own small business but for the mean time its stacking seasonā¦ trying to prepare for the upcoming of my future instead of the stupid interest rates of loansā¦ Iāve also been kicked out of a professors course due to having use of improper language (slang) in his auditoriumā¦ so thatās me young and stupid (in the english grammar department) with a heavy mind set.

Yes rather ambitious one might say for a noob. Ok so what is it that got me into this malarkey? Many years ago, 23 to be exact, I had this crazy attraction to this business, or was it affliction? LOL I say this cuz back in those times it all started in a large famous book shop in the heart of London. We had no such luxuries like BabyPips, and if you owned a pc it probably had a green screen that was really a type writer.
I remember one day while browsing for microbiology books and getting tired with the topic to have a wander. After some time feeling a bit dizy and lost I sat down, which just so happened to be the finance section. This ultimately led to me gazing at these mad looking books. For some unquantifiable reason with all my youthful vigour I was trolling through them perhaps salivating at the mouth with excitement. In no time at all I had got myself two little books which to me at the time were little gems. One was a rather mind numbing book explaining fiscal stuff and what bonds are, economic news and such like, I found that one hard to read. The other I enjoyed lots, a little hard back called Charters on Charting (tech analysis)
Before I knew what hit me I was reading the financial times and looking at penny shares on Ceefax.
With no capital I soon realised that to catch a break into the community as a tea boy was gonna be a tall order.

Moving on to now after many career changes, I got back from Asia as an English Teacher to my humble abode in France. And shoot me down it happened again. Iāll be frank and honest, I got myself sucker punched into the binary options game and after pulling my hair out I seek the www for guidance. Hello babypips.com, what a huge help 
So about six months ago I ceased any real trading and got me that MT4.
It has been a journey which has led to me breaking up with my partner as I made the conscious choice of applying myself fulltime to this and to try something different with my life, something I enjoy and can earn those lovely pips.
Not all of my family members are behind me on this, who can blame them. Iāve read many posts of noobs experiencing a similar reaction from their own peers.
So onwards and upwards here I am :))))) I hope to make friends with you all and have something positive to contribute to the this community. Iām an easy going chap and open to anyone for a natter.

Iām new to FOREX and Babypips.com. A friend and business associate of mine got involved in the FX market when he started a second business with Wealth Generators. However I did not join him in that business I wanted to prove that you can do the same without paying a monthly fee for advice. On Facebook I joined several groups and members pointed me here. Iām currently looking to do this part-time and as a way to help fund my business. Iām currently using MT4 as my platform and Iām trying to decide on Oanda or FXCM as my starting brokers. Iām living in Pittsburgh where I was born and raised, and planning on moving to Florida later this year. I was directed to BabyPips.com from the young man who will be my new business partner through this endeavor. Iām glad he told me about this place, Iāve learned a lot! I finished the school program and I know I still have a lot to learn. Iām currently employed full-time and going to school online for a masters degree in child development psychology.
