What a day with Greece and Portugal debt rating cut!!! I lost all my gains for today. Is there any schedule for S&P or Fitch rating release?
I don’t think there’s a schedule for that. Maybe you could listen to bloomberg radio while trading? Or RSS bloomberg news?
That is bad. We might be losing lots of money when the news come out.
I concur. That’s why it’s good to take partial profit or stop trailing and always use stoploss. I’m pretty sure a lot of stop losses got triggered on the way down.
There was plenty of talk about the situation in Greece in the news in the days before the downgrade. This should help you prepare for the fact that additional news (both plus and minus) may be happening in the future.
Of course, some things will strike out of the blue anyway!
