Seasoned traders, how do you start your trading day or week?

Can you guys share some best practices to get my week or day started?

I tend to get stuck on YT look for “stuff”, a strategy or more info on something I read here, and then finally I get to charts. and maybe taking a trade

i kinda feel like I’m still fumbling around getting my session going. Maybe like a quick top 3 things you’re doing to prepare for the week?

Or maybe once the week is going, pick a day, like what are you doing to start your day?

Cool, guys, thanks.

I have a fixed schedule and process I follow every trading day. The morning (Asian) I devote to catching up on emails, Babypips, currency changes, and updating my Excel trading sheets. I take a lunchtime break until about a half hour before London session opens when I review whether my trading pairs would be candidates for entering the market.

I spend the first hour of London watching how the land lies, then taking minimal trades on the 4h chart that completely meet my strategy, signals and indicators, P/L and T/P price zones. I then ignore looking at the charts until the next day.

The rest of the day is my own to do what I like.
