Eastside High has an interesting history. It was a really good high school. From 1967 until 1987 the school declined to the point that an official report referred to Eastside High as a “cauldron of violence.” It was the subject of the movie Lean On Me.
I have no idea for sure, but let’s just say during that 20-year decline that school had five different principals.
Imagine what each principal said as he/she quit. “These students can’t be helped.” “Saving this school is impossible.” “Only an idiot would take this job.”
Along came Joe Clark, a man of extreme character, and whipped that school into shape. He achieved what no one saw as possible.
I think one lesson here is that sometimes, you just gotta stick to your guns and will your way through it. Even if you don’t have all the answers in the beginning.
People will tell you you’re crazy, and it can’t be done. Even common sense will tell you to cut your losses and move on.
But where there’s a will, there’s a way. Push through and stick to it.

That’s because the 40-year-old Telegram founder, Pavel Durov, has six “official” children with three different partners; but he’s also been donating to a sperm clinic for 15 years, which told him he has helped conceive over 100 babies across 12 countries. And luckily for them, they’ve just been included in Durov’s $13.9 billion will, despite potentially not knowing their wealthy biological father.
“I wrote my will very recently,” Durov told French publication Le Point in a recent interview. “I make no difference between my children: there are those who were conceived naturally and those who come from my sperm donations. They are all my children and will all have the same rights! I don’t want them to tear each other apart after my death.”
That means his at least 106 children could each earn around $132 million for being related to the Russian-born entrepreneur. But they’ll have to wait a long time before inheriting that fortune.
“I decided that my children would not have access to my fortune until a period of thirty years has elapsed, starting from today,” Durov continued. “I want them to live like normal people, to build themselves up alone, to learn to trust themselves, to be able to create, not to be dependent on a bank account.”
Give Legacy, a sperm and fertility clinic, tells Fortune whether or not they know they’re set for the windfall from their biological dad depends on whether Durov was a “directed donor,” known to the birth parent, or an “anonymous donor” with tighter regulations.
“Identity verification is reasonably straightforward. Paternity tests can confirm that Pavel is the father,” says Khaled Kteily, CEO of Give Legacy. “Anyone who believes that Pavel is their biological father could submit a sample to verify. Depending on each country’s laws as well as relationships with the birth mother, the child could already be made aware.”

Growth is painful and scary. If it’s not uncomfortable, you’re still in your comfort zone.
If I were to make my own boot camp, it would probably include one of Goggins’s workouts: run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. Then, some other endurance test with light weights or somethings.

So many businessmen end up in divorce. One thing I’ve learned is that you absolutely can’t leave women alone. If you leave most men alone, he’ll probably just wanna pursue some hobby.
But women, they need their leader close. They get lonely, bored and anxious. It’s bad. That’s when they start getting an attitude, and if you don’t pick up the hints, they will cause you problems you can’t imagine.
I say the best thing is to find a way to work together.

There’s a funny thing about having a pretty girl with you when you go out.
Social proof is real. Other men will see you differently when a hot girl is on your arm.
However, looks alone is not enough for choosing someone to live your life with.
Sure, people will look at you differently when you go out. But what’s that worth if you two are miserable when you’re alone together?
My point is, don’t worry about what other people are gonna think. If you only want arm candy, just rent one for the evening.
