Hi, I am a computer scientist. Naturally, coding an EA would not be much of a problem.
But seriously, do EAs really work? I do not have knowledge of hi fi trading strategies to implement but if you have, I can probably code it into an EA.
But I am just doubting the reliability of it in the long run. Prove me wrong.

The problem is that anyone smart enough to design a profitable strategy will already has more than sufficient IT skills to impliment an EA.
Anyone unable to write a bit of simple code isnt going to get anywhere near developing a reasonable strategy.
The good news is EA’s can work, but you wont have a cat in hells chance of developing one until you’ve developed manual trading skills, and actually have an understanding of the problem that you are trying to solve.

You are completely right, eas, robots, indis, does not work. Things that works: discipline, cold blood, mass psicology understanding and the only indicator that works: market itself, pure price action. Satisfaction guaranteed or we will return you back your money.

Seriously, there are some ppl that are geniuses at writing ea’s. Even if you are not computer literate, it is easy to learn.
Start by using a template where you only have to change a few lines of code.
Start by copying other successful ea’s There are heaps of them! (there are heaps of scams out there too)

But please dont pester him and ask for his ea’s! Not Cool.
My advice. If you are keen enough. Jump in and start coding! Its additive! & there is no reason why you cant make a better ea then the latest commercial God Bot.
