There are currently lots of trading systems available online but I guess we can go over the basics? The time frame and indicators you wanna use are the first ones to identify. 
For this, you have to consider your personality and schedule. Like, how many hours can you check your charts? If you can monitor for hours, you can choose a shorter time frame. But if you like to leave it be, maybe you can use longer ones!
