Since I live in Europe and my national currency is EUR, in what currency should I open my account ?
I’m planning to trade the pair EUR/USD.

I would open the account in EUR since you don’t want to be ripped off by your bank’s exchange rate when you withdraw money from your brokerage account.
you don’t want anything denominated in USD… i’m waiting for my broker to offer a way to switch my currency denomination… you’re just getting ripped off by inflation as the dollar continues to get pummeled.
