Signals Vs Analisys

Part of our mistakes waving trought this crazy thing we call forex is that we confuse analisys with entry signal. You put two emas for example, one slow, one fast, wait for them tho cross and voialá, and you think that is analisys? If it wins you are fooling yourself thinking you are making a good analisys, no, you are just lucky for now. There is nothing wrong following an ema crosses or an rsi or whatever but it is really stupid to take every signal they provide. There comes the true analisys, wetter is tech or fundie, part of succesful traders abiities is to decide when not to trade and taking back the example if you make a good analysis not just waiting for the emas just to cross, you can be very profitable if you just look at it as something more than a signaling method, if you apply a propper analisys you will be able to open a trade before the emas or even skip a bad trade even if the signal seems so clear.

Regards.

It wouldn’t be stupid to take every signal they provide… if analysis proves that they’re always correct :33:

where proper analysis is?

There are many technical strategies in Forex, Commodities, Indices and Stocks. There is nothing foul using a cross between MA’s in my opinion as long you remember it does not provide you with 100% sucess. In order to filter the false signals more technica indicators are pllied in order to purify the entry signal driven from the technical analysis. Of course there is no 100% in trading (in any financial market) but attemepting to filter the false signals is what will make you a successful trader, any profit is good
