Actually, on this board there is a thread called MacFibo. I don’t use his system other than the moving averages. 5ema, 8sma, 20 sma. When the red crosses black you trade in that direction. once in the trade and the red croses the yellow, get out. That simple.
Also, the 5ema is red, 8sma is yellow, the 20sma is black.
sounds simple enough!. usually its the simplest things that work best right!.. how have you found the MA crossovers to be innterms of profitablility ?
Just like any system based on moving averages, once the market is consolidating you will get faked out. I minimize my risk by identifying the market state and trading accordingly. When Crude isn’t stuck in a 30 tick range I use this strategy to make some coin. Today I was up because of the moves on that chart. 1 lot and 1 tick is $10 bucks. Good times.

Your right about the consolidation the last few weeks have been very rough with the first Greek vote with no clear winner but now that’s sorted hopefully things will get better.

I’ve been away from trading for awhile. This trade today for 11 pips worked out. What I did in the overlay 4 hour chart was looked for the longer short trend shown by the Para Sar indicator. This I looked for the Simple and almost… set up and took the the trade on a 15 minute chart with the eur/aud. I would appreciate any feedback on this trade. Thanks, GJ
