Well, thank you I suppose. That was a new experience.

Well I for one have absolutely no idea what you are referring to…but if it helped to clear away the poison and vitriol that has been spreading around both on and off site then that is a major step forward and I am very glad to hear it!!! Well done to whoever…

A lightened mood will certainly be welcome and constructive! And hopefully whoever they that are “involved” will also maintain it. This is a site about forex…

THIS IS A SERIOUS POINT ok (all joking aside)
when i posted this comment as a joke
something came to mind

I THOUGHT IT’D BE USEFUL TO SHARE

I have found personally that when i listen to Heavy Metal, Metallica, Pantera, Kiss , whatever
my trading tends to be more profitable … Swear to god guys
and Kiss… God of thunder… for some reason… when price is going against me, (i’m not kidding) ok

i put on god of thunder and price goes in my favour , i kid you not

Now, there are 2 elements to this (in a real world situation)

  1. i trade better when i listen to metal - this is a Psychological thing, it’s an emotional thing and yes. IT’S A REAL THING

  2. Price turns for kiss
well. I HAVE NO EXPLANATION OTHER THAN… KISS ARE AWESOME and clearly the markets respect kiss hehe
i have no other logical way to explain it other than IT HAPPENS

maybe this will be useful for some people who are struggling with emotions when trading. (seriously)

How did you guess!!! That is all we Finns ever do…
And at the bottom of that list…well, looks like you guys down under have a lot of catching up to do!!

While the earliest evidence of coffee drinking appeared in Yemen in the middle of the 15th century, the image of an Italian espresso is often what many associate with a classic cup of coffee. But actually none of these nations appear in the top ten in terms of how much coffee each citizen consumes. Based on data collated by WorldAtlas.com in fact these are the top 10 countries for consumption of coffee per capita:

Finland: 9.6 kg per capita (consumption of 2.64 cups/day)
Norway: 7.2 kg (1.98 cups/day)
Netherlands: 6.7 kg (1.84 cups/day)
Slovenia: 6.1 kg (1.68 cups/day)
Austria: 5.5 kg (1.51 cups/day)
Serbia: 5.4 kg (1.49 cups/day)
Denmark: 5.3 kg (1.46 cups/day)
Germany: 5.2 kg (1.43 cups/day)
Belgium: 4.9 kg (1.35 cups/day)
Brazil: 4.8kg (1.32 cups/day)

Australia is ranked 42nd in the world for coffee consumption at almost 3kg per capita.

@anon46773462
hehe
well I THINK I WILL ELEVATE MY STATUS TO 6th PLACE, thank you very much
I may live in Australia
i may be born here
i may speak Aussie fluently
my blood is Serbian
when it comes to coffee, im serbian

when it comes to telling someone to F Off I’m and Aussie hehe

now, i’ve also worked in hospitality for 20 years
i didn’t know finland was at the top of the ladder of coffee evolution interesting

Ah Serbia!

One of my favourite countries for their old banknotes, this is one of my favourites:

LOL…
No… You mean this… don’t you

Mate… Hiljada Dinara… Pfftt Peanuts
how about Pet Stotina Milliarde hehe

let me know if you’d like a few LOL LMFAO

i have like 20 of them hehe

oh, and i mean… OF THIS DENOMINATION hehe
you gotta love the 70’s… good times

i also have some of these

when you were 5 and you were a TITOV PIONIR hehe
this would get you a few lollies at the local TRAFIKA (News stand, for all you english speakers)

i guess this topic is now SORT OF FOREX RELATED
HYPER INFLATION ANYONE hehe

as a fact though
you’d think after the hyper inflation that would have dispensed with Dinar’s
however, they are still used for small purchases like milk and bread and … yes, a cup of coffee

i was there around 17 years ago last
a coffee was around 40 Dinars
loaf of bread, around 10 Dinars
a beer… around 15
glass of orange juice… around 10

but go to Kopaonik which is a tourist ski resort… mate, big bucks… Orange juice… 20 dinars hehe

they still Use Euro’s though for larger things like buying shoes or a table or a car or something like that
Strangely dinars are still used
but you can’t exchange them in banks

you have street scalpers who carry literally billions of dinars , which is around $50 hehe

No… Just kidding, it’s probably a few thousand that’s all
and they set the rate on the street

they walk around with rolled up wads of cash hehe, it’s funny to see
you meet the guy in a coffee shop, you want to exchange like $1000 Eur for Dinars and you get like $50,000 Dinars
of course he got the better end of the deal and you’re trying to figure out how to put that $50,000 in your pocket so you don’t get robbed

it’s interesting to watch

Thanks but I have most of those Jugoslav notes - and there were a lot of them!

But if we want to talk size then, at 100 000 000 000 000 000 000 pengo, I think this Hungarian sextillion note is about the largest denomination note in the world (so far):

And, of course, Hungarian inflation ended up with this (actually it is me disposing of my excess winnings)

LMFAO

It looks like the after effects of the last serbian wedding i went to .
the adults try to throw the money away in the HOPE THE NAIVE LITTLE CHILDREN WILL PICK THEM UP AS POCKET MONEY so we don’t have to dispose of them

sadly, the kids are not that stupid hehe

i like that blue note though

reminds me of another on that we had in the early 70s
can’t find the picture though
i think it was a 1 or a 10 i’m not sure
i remember kids used to carry them all the time for lollies

It is kind of spooky really when every now and again in us Euro countries there is talk of re.introducing the earlier local national currency alongside the Euro…or nowadays a parallel cryptocurrency such as being discussed in Estonia…it kind of brings the thought of yet more hyper-inflation risk one day…salaries in local, imports in Euros?

yeah it is spooky
i mean, you go there (to srbija) and you ask them about Euro

now, Just like Aussies are bloody proud to be aussie
so are serbs, maybe even more so .

so they STICK BY THEIR DINAR hehe regardless of how worthless it is
mate… it’s about Kosovo and THE DINAR hehe that’s it
oh AND LEPA BRENA of course
BUT… that goes without saying… :stuck_out_tongue:

ok now
here is what i’m wondering

how did we go from PANTERA SLAUGHTERED to Lepa Brena :stuck_out_tongue:

i would definitely deem this OFF TOPIC
