So I went through the school of pipsology

… but I’m still as lost as anything!

Are there any books you think that honed your skills? I would love to be able to finally visualize those patterns and fire out trades. I don’t think following a set of indicators with minimal graph work is my thing, that seems too mechanized; I prefer to find patterns, such as butterflies and Gartling 222s, are there any books you could suggest upon such ideas?

Sticking to my guns on making two trades a day, with the fine intention of moving onto the real game after 12 months! Please help me make the most of that!

nb: I mean I’m searching for a more visual tactics, like the gartleys and butterflies. These seems to work much more in my mind, I think they’d be more suited to how I work.

Whatever your method, you should always have rules, rules stop you from losing your account.

Hmm, I guess rules was the wrong word to use, I guess I’ll have to correct that. Of course Gartley patterns and butterflies will, too, have a set of entry and exit rules. What I mean is following the mundane patterns that work solely on indicators and not as thoroughly on the graphs, if this makes more sense?
