Social Trading Strategy

So I have a bit of an odd query. I am a signal provider on a well known social trading platform. This morning, it appeared that the positions I was opening on my MT4 was not registering on the platform. I then proceeded to contact support in order to clarify this issue. I was asked to provide a screenshot of the open position on my MT4. As a result, it was easy to see what expert advisor I am using( It provided 40 % in the last three weeks). My question is whether the fact that it has broadly become known what expert advisor I am using might have a negative impact on my performance going forward as more people might be using this robot, on or off the platform, or is this plain paranoia? I humbly welcome feedback. Thanks

If the entire population of your city decided to use a certain EA its unlikely their combined capital would move the forex markets 1 pip.

No worries! Haha. I have to agree with the others. But also, I feel like the nature of social trading platforms is that other people can also check out your activity, so there wouldn’t likely be such a huge impact from this.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated

I geuss when you have something good you are afraid you might lose it even irrationally, thanks my friend for the feedback

This makes it clear how irrational my worry was, the market is a vast ocean, thanks

thanks, this was pure paranoia))

Social trading in forex or binary options is the practice of imitating the trades of other traders found through online social trading communities. Additionally, traders can use the trading community as their personal support system as well as a place to learn ideas and discuss strategies.

Noooo. It’s fine! I would understand why you got worried and anxious about this. Hope everything goes well though!

Have you already sent it to them? Curious to know if you’ve seen any effects after said screenshot was sent? :open_mouth:

Social trading strategy is referred to as when a trader imitates the trading styles of traders whom they found online. Such trading communities are good as members provide emotional support to each other and also they can discuss their problems & losses.

Social trading allows them to follow top traders, mimicking their trades and using the advice provided by the more experienced traders as a baseline for their own trading decisions. It’s a very interesting concept and one that is showing a lot of growth in the financial circles.
