Some assistance with a spammer, please

Hello all,

I’m known as Pharaoh, and primarily hang out at the Forex Peace Army forums.

As part of the FPA’s activities against scammers, I’ve been following the actions of their main spamvertizer, Alessandro0003msc. Lately, I encountered one of Alessandro’s buddies (or alternate identities) calling himself TrendNow.

I saw him starting to set himself up for advertising on your forums here:

and decided to try to warn people about his activities in his ForexGen thread.

Subsequently, he has severely tested the bounds of courtesy and good taste - even insulting my mother.

Now he’s dropping posts in other threads where I am trying to hold legitimate discussions of my brokerage and a trading method I’m using:

I’ve attempted to report his posts, but get an error. Can someone above the 50 post limit please bring this to the attention of the moderators.

hey pharoah, I see your request and I will check it out…

btw… i know our “report button” currently isn’t working… we’re in the process of fixing all the bugs, hopefully :), and until we update with all the changes, please report spam by emailing <[email protected]> … Thanks!

If he keeps arguing, at least I’ll be above the 50 post minimum for PMing soon. :smiley:

Seriously though, I won’t complain if you wipe all of my responses to his hijacking of the Guppy and IBFX threads.

I’m now cleaning out the posts I made in the hijacked threads that were in response to the spammer.
