Care to elaborate on this, saying this cos I am yet to come across a broker that is “pro-trader”.

I don’t think that is true. Take for instance IG, they are what they say. For traders of all levels they are good. I started trading with them 4 years back and still with them, their service team is very helpful and patient, literally hand-held me in the beginning. And as someone making consistent profits, their trading platform and data tools are great.

I have a similar opinion on Atrade and Fxview, although I have only been trading for about 8 months, but I find their customer care approachable and helpful.
You said it yourself, every broker will have contradictory reviews. And that’s because 1 particular broker cannot be good for everyone, might work for 1, not necessarily for another. So you should create demo accounts of brokers that you feel are reliable and see which one you would want to go live with.
