Lets see what happens
I trade the Dow long-term but long only, I would never short the US indices. I’m out right now but looking to get back in as the uptrend resumes: another 2 or 3 sessions I’d guess.

you got where to put your stop loss
There’s no financial pressure to generate trading profit by shorting something like the Dow or S&P. The Dow is up 40% in the last 4 years, 30% the three years before that and 30% the three years before that.
