Wassup everyone? My names Justin. I started this new journey on Baby Pips, not because I’m beginner when it comes to forex, but I am a beginner in learning how to trade independently. I come from IML Academy (iMarketsLive) which is a multilevel MARKETING company. They help others/recruiters make money by recruiting people and in return the IML company will receive most of the profits off of the people that they just finished recruiting while the recruiters receive the remaining portion. Long story short, I was put into a group of rank chasers that were trying to get money through increasing their own ranks, while those who weren’t trying to rank chase were left reliant on signals that either hit SL 95% of the time or didn’t make enough profit that outweighed their losses. On-top of that, those weren’t rank chasing were swept under the rug and forgotten about or were placed into a group-chat with the lower-level leaders that already were struggling to make money and didn’t have information on trading other than giving you enough info from the higher level leaders that already kept you dependent on signals. I ended up losing more money than I made (almost close to $800-$900) and that kept me in a bad state of mind, up until I was able to see through the scheme and I took myself out of every group that was with IML. I started trading independently and by the grace of God I met another independent trader who forwarded me to this website so I can start from scratch and learn the process and terms of forex trading so I will be able to call my own trades and signals and not rely on anyone else but myself. I’ll be looking forward to entering my progress within the next 5 months of this year.
Hi and welcome to the forum. I like your story. I think it sums up how many members get into trading. And it is good you figured out what the real game was after a while. It’s good to learn from your own mistakes. You can now create your own trading plan and stick to it no matter what. This is the only way of becoming a consistently profitable trader.
