I am new to fx trading ( I have read a couple of books and went though pip school), and wanted to introduce myself. Next I would like to say thank you to the creators and contributor of this site it is very helpful. That being said I need some advice.
I work full time (7:30AM-5:30: PM EST) so I do not have time to trade during the day. I am trying to come up with a swing trading system. This is what I have come up with so far.
Using weekly GBP/USD charts I find the week before a trend reversal. Then go into the daily charts and find the day before the reversal. I take down ADX(14),RSI(14), Stoch[fastK(14,3)], MACD(12,26,9), and whether the trend is going up or down. Next I am going to take the averages and see if l can find any correlation between them. I have not come up with any exit strategy yet.
Am I going in the right direction?
Can anyone suggest any other indicators or ideas?
If people are interest I will post my results.
