Swing Trading in Asia: Strategies for Non-US Session based Traders

Hello fellow traders,

I’m specifically reaching out to those of you based in Asia who are involved in swing trading in the forex market and are not trading during US Session hours (meaning nighttime in Asia). Given that most significant market movements and economic data releases occur during the US Session, I would like to hear from you how you identify good entry points due to the time zone differences.

How do you manage your swing trades and analyze the market during the Asia Session? What strategies do you use to navigate this situation effectively? Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi @ShinyZ, what kind of advice do you need?

You can still trading in London Time. Nothing is different. If you can see market structure, you can estimate movement on NY time.

Hi, Thank you for your response! I appreciate your input.

To clarify, I’m specifically looking for insights from traders who are swing trading and based in Asia, particularly those who are not actively trading during the US Session hours (late night in Asia).

How do you manage your swing trades in this context? Do you set limit orders or stop buy/sell orders before the US Session starts? I’m interested in understanding how you navigate the time zone difference and make your trading decisions effectively. Any specific strategies or experiences you could share would be very helpful!

Thanks again!
