Just a few tips for you,
get to know forex first.
Swing trading may work for you, read through the school, form a plan and then test it.
I can tell you that setting and forgetting is going to be a tough task especially for a beginer.
your going to come across a lot of emotion in your trading journey, one of the things i always used to like doing was monitoring my positions often - sometimes too often, but until you get used to things and build up some confidence it would be a good idea.
