i have finished the school of pipsology, and now it is recommended i use a charting program to continue where do i get this from?
open a demo account with any brokers that offer it

I’d recomend opening an account with oanda as they allow you to trade very small units, I would discourage you from using a demo account and instead make a small deposit of �/$10 or so and trade a few pennies a pip, this will better prepare you psycholgically when you decide to make a larger deposit
As for the actual trading i’d urge you to steer more in the direction of price action analysis through the use of candlesticks, support and resistance, chart patterns,trendlines and channels

it’s a good idea but maybe it’s good try different platforms too 
i will open a demo account in due time but what i need to know is where i can get the charting software that allows me to go back in time and watch the candlestick charts frame by frame and apply a trading strategy to it, where do i get this software from ?
all the software to trade has a charting software but you can’t go back in time so much. the best one for old data are the one with mt4 (metatrader) software
Nearly every demo will come with a free charting package as well.
