I’m having serious doubts about Charles too. He seems willing to be apologetic for being King, he seems ready to minimise the role and its surrounding traditions and customs. Weak.

My invitation to the coronation must have got lost in the mail. My only brush with royalty was when I accidentally elbowed the Duke of Kent in the ribs when he visited my university.
The London Stock Exchange is going to be closed on the 1st of May and on the 8th of May. Not sure about the currency markets but they usually follow the stock exchange for holidays.
But the big Coronation question is - How many people are going to be swearing an oath of allegiance?
