PS: I’m pleased to say that the majority of my trades are finally starting to be winners. It took a long time and alot of demo resets:D but I am getting better. No more euphoria or bone crushing disappointment win or lose. Just - “Next trade”

I remember reading there is a indicator used in MT4 that helps us to get time frames like 25 m 35 min 45 min on the charts. At present i am looking for setups only on 30 m 15 m and 1 hr using my IBFX MT4 demo.
Any guidance on how to set it up and use it get multiple time frames other than default time frames, would be of great help.

after a month of demo trading… how do i reactivate my demo account… in GFT ? 
i tried to contact support group, they said i have to open a live account to have a unlimited demo trial ?
is it possible to open a demo account without a live one ? for now.

Hi, I think you’re thinking of the period converter script. It comes built in in MT4, but there’s a better one that you can download: Period Converter Optimized - MQL4 Code Base
Just google a little to learn how to use it.
When I played around with GFT I simply used another email address with other user details to get a new demo period.
Sneaky but simple.

Tymens broker is an introducing broker to GFT.
I use GFT directly. There is no unlimited demo without giving them money unfortunately. But you’re going to trade real money eventually anyway, right?

Is GFT like other brokers who requires to submit personal information (like W8ben,utility bill,ID) before your account will be activated ? even if its just a demo

No, but they want name and phone and such and if you don’t change it around enough their servers recognizes you.
Just type in a different name and address and phone etcusing a new mail and you’re good to go for another month

i tried it creating new account…
all are different name/address/phone and email address. but after they sent me the user account then i tried to log-in its saying that :
[B]“you are already registered with another demo user”[/B]
I tried again, to do it in my 3rd email everything is different,
i also uninstalled the software, Got my user/pass but when i logged in i still got the same
[B]“you are already registered with another demo user”[/B]
how did they able to detect that ? eek:
i am thinking if my IP address was registered to their servers ?
any ideas ? 
Did you try using a different computer to register ? They are probably tracking IP address of the pc with which you already registered.

Make sure you’ve changed all the details, every one. If that doesn’t help, try through a proxy server then to see if it’s the IP, but it seems to be too much of a hassle now huh?
i used the same computer when registering. ill try to use diff computer
I’m sure that everything are different when i filled out the form.
ill try doing proxy and see if that would work.
If all else fails i guess i need to fund my old demo account, or if any of you have other ways i would really appreciate it…

Interesting sideline!! 
I went thro Kinetic Securities, an introducing broker, and they gave me the demo indefinitely.
Since I am live trading, I have the demo indefinitely anyhow.
I have recommended them many times throughout both part 1 and 2 of this thread.
But now that you are in there, you will simply have to deposit money with them to do your demo work.
Which is OK since, like VulcanClassic said, you will have to do anyway for live trading.
I think the hassle with the changed computers and web addresses is simply more trouble than it is worth - especially for only 30 days!!
