I here a lot of people complaining about various brokers on these forums and I was just wandering what your ideas on the best possible broker would be like as well as the most perfect platform imaginable in your opinion? If possible could you itemize your answers 1 to 10, 10 being most important 1 being least.

I think one of the most important things to look for from a broker when judging there reliability is where they are regulated I think US and UK regulated brokers are the least likely to behave underhandedly. It is also important to consider whether they are market makers or STP
A broker than runs an ECN model rather than a market maker model.
Add Australian (ASIC) regulation to the trusted list above.
I trade with Vantage FX because they ticked the ECN and regulated boxes for me.
