I’m here to learn about forex and would one day want to be a professional trader. I come from Botswana and have spent many years of my life in school only to be unemployed. This is affecting me so much because most vacancies require many years of experience which I don’t have since I’m a fresh graduate. I’m doing my Mphil but it’s going slow due to reasons beyond my control. I have no source of income and at my age it is depressing. So maybe,just maybe, forex trading can change my life for the better.

Careful with those emotions. Forex is difficult already and adding the pressure of having to make money to survive right now is going to make it even more difficult.
Focus on your strategy, demo and backtest it for at least 6 months. Fine tune it. But keep it simple the best ones are the simplest ones.

I’m sorry to hear about your struggles. Dealing with depression and having low/no income can really drag you down. I think trading is a good idea, just keep in mind that it may take time to start bringing in a real income from it. I hope that things get better for you and wish you luck in your trading endeavors.

But you have to just take it easy and slowly, learn, learn and learn. No rushing or else it will burn your hand and you get more depressed. Forex market is not an MMM (Money Making Machine) as some people think, but it’s completely a business process. Hope you will understand. I wish you good luck.

So sorry to hear about your situation! The thing with forex though is it requires money to make money. Perhaps there are online jobs you can take in the meantime while you’re learning how to trade?
