Thoughts On What I have Learned So Far?

Have some questions if some kind person could help me out :blush:
Progress so far. Have made 30 or so fx trades in a live account and winning 1 in 3.

Q1) My broker has a link to Autochartist giving trading opportunities which seem to be accurate but normally arrive by email to late to action, is this normal or is there a way to get the info in real time?
Q2) My broker seems to have variable spreads up as high as 3 pips, can this be improved on without paying fees elswhere?
Q4) Am I correct in thinking a trade needs to yield 80 to 100 pips gain to be worthwhile?
Q5) Is Forex still profitable or should I be looking at something else (Gold or Oil for example).

Thanks in advance any opinions would be very welcome.

I think instead of looking at it from a set pip amount measurement, it might help to look at it from a risk to reward view.

As for forex being profitable, I think it’s definitely not as volatile as other markets lately esp if you compare it to equities and crypto… Not too familiar with commodities, sorry!
