Don’t mean to harp, but this has only happened to me when browsing Baby Pips.

Strange, I run avast and firefox as well and i haven’t had any trouble.

That’s what I’m wondering. Maybe it’s some kind of addserver serving up adds from occasionally who knows where? Well anyway, my Avast blocked it so I’m not too concerned. But it’s happened several times and only when I’m on Baby Pips so thought I should bring it to their attention.

Could be, I run adblock plus and flashblock so I hardly ever see any ads.

Avast is all I have running all the time. What add block and flash block do you reocomend?

I have ccleaner and malwarebytes.
Malwarebytes works wonders for cleaning up a trashed computer!

I meant the firefox addons: adblock plus and flashblock. Superb little thingies.

Greetings TalonD,

As you are the only person to have brought this specific issue to our attention, we’re inclined to think this may be a computer specific issue. Have you run an anti-virus scan? How about a boot-level scan that starts before your operating system has a chance to completely load? If you’re using Windows and if your AV software allows it, try running the scan in Safe Mode. This keeps “auto-run” programs from starting. Spyware also has a tendency to cause strange things to happen with your computer, especially with your browser. We’ve personally had luck with Lavasoft Adaware and Spybot: Search and destroy.

We also did a search for the URL displayed in your security window: run.secure-your-pc.info. It is not related to us or to any of our advertisers, either. And that web address comes up with a blank page. Very strange.

We’re currently serve advertisements only from Google and from companies we’ve had long relationships with, never having issues with compromised advertisements. We’ll take a deeper look at our in-house adserver to see if this could be related. We do think we do a pretty good job about clean and minimal ad placement, but we’re biased on that end.

Please let us know if the problem continues.

Thanks Pipstramus for your reply.
I’ve done some thorough scans on my PC but not from safe mode so I’ll give that a try. I use spybot also as well as AVG antivirus but when I decided to give Avast a try it found a couple things that AVG always missed. And I havn’t found anything since then. But I’ll try it from safe mode and see if anything turns up. Sorry to be a pain, it’s just that it’s only happend when I’ve been browsing BP.
I’ll let you know if anything turns up on my end.

Forex Robot Reviews? What’s that all about TalonD? :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL, well I like to keep my options open!

don’t like to plug other websites, but that one seems unbiased. That’s hard to find.

not for my live trading. just play with them on demo. But that’s not saying I wouldn’t use one live. But being a code slinger, or programist as some say. EAs do have a particular appeal.
