Thanks Eddieb. Yes, i am trying to limit losses and keep at least a 2:1 rr ratio. The reversal on those particular yen pairs were quite clear, fortunately. so i had no problem identifying some good counter-trend setups. If only future patterns were this good, huh. How about you? How’s the trading week going?
Long EUR/JPY @ 128.25 | SL @ 128 | TP 60-80 pips. Decided to long EUR/JPY instead of GBP/JPY since the latter has moved much further than EUR/JPY. Not really sure how positively correlated the pairs are but in the past it has moved in same direction reliably.

Very quiet for me. I tend to have trades running for 7 days +, and I’m currently trying a new money management idea of not opening new trades until existing trades are either in profit or have been closed

Bought GBP/JPY @ 180.16 last Friday and closed for +25 pips. Freaking forgot to update my trades due to bad internet connection.
Left a Short GBP/JPY over the weekend. Closed @ -120 pips. Crappy start for the week. Tried to average down with positions on EUR/JPY but also closed @ -20 pips.
Short EUR/JPY @ 129.63. Still trusting gut instinct. Will be holding for 2-3 days with TP anywhere between 150-200 pips.
