Hi there I am new to trading (although have been studying it for about a year now). I’m ready to start trading with real money - can anyone recommend a good platform/broker to use?

What things are you looking for in a platform and a broker?
In general I made good experience with MT4 mobile for smartphone. I loaded down without Google account APK version, works great. Many brokers support that.

I seriously would not recommend trading on a phone. To me there is no way you can get enough chart information to make serious trading decisions. The screen is just too small. Invest in a good 15" laptop.

Yes I see what you mean, I will probably do that - I guess what I need is a clear to read/simple to use platform. With speedy real time prices, best spread prices…ideal for a beginner.

Are there any particular things I Should be looking for? My initial thoughts were a simple to use software, good technical analysis tools (suitable for a beginner), competitive prices. What sort of other things do you guys look for?

Nah you said you were ready to trade live so I wondered if there was anything in particular as there are loads of brokers.
I would recommend a screen bigger than your mobile phone’s, however, if you must use mobile phone then AMarkets seems to be better than others. But if possible, avoid using your cellphone.
