willy, I do not trade all the GBP, usually only GBPUSD because it is a USD cross.
I use the DXY as my indicator and the news like tonight.

I also like correlations

I am avoiding them today and the next couple of days due to lots of news.

I don’t know, The news can be your friend, you just need to get to know it.
This was trading the GBPUSD and EURUSD during and after the GBP news release.

Scalping London 2-11

GBP is good for short-term opportunities long and short, occasionally.
Intra-day action on the Forex tends to be unpredictable.

Currently i would agree with you but mainly because of the current GBP / EUR issues but over riding that quagmire is the current strength of the USD and now it will most like wobble in its resistance zone until the end EOM.

Most GBP is traded through London, market there opens at 0800 local time. Volume increases when New York gets to work 1430 London time, and drops very low when New York closes 2130 London time. Prices outside these two overlapping sessions are less dependable and spreads are wider.

Don’t leave GBP (or EUR) positions or orders in place and unwatched for long right now, too much political stuff going on over Brexit.
