Trading platforms

Hello Guys, it’s me again: I was just practicing some of my technical analysis on my demo account in MT5, but I decided to switch to MT4 and I realized the trends of the majors I was trading was totally different. Is there an explanation to this??

And which platform should I use?! Please

Hi  did you open same symbols and time frames in both platforms? can you send print screens? Regards Greg

how? Should be identical if is the same broker or very similar even if is different broker. Please give more information including sample pictures if possible.

when its all about trading platform , all credit goes to MT4 which is the best ever platform in Forex trading.

MT4 or MT5 both are good to use , even though most of the traders particularly beginners always feel comfort when using mt4.

I would also recommend that you use MT4 if your requirement doesn’t exceed trading currencies.

Thanks but I got kinda confused . It is actually the similar @ProfesorPips

Yes exactly

To me it looks like they are different because you are on the 1 minute chart and at different times to each other. The 1 minute chart is not traded by many people because it’s considered to be noise. If you switch to a longer timeframe chart the charts would be very similar even though there was time difference between you screen shots.

Should i use a MT4 or MT5 as a trading platform, i find both are very similar broker to trade with ?

I think MT4 is better and more user friendly than MT5.

I agree. MT4 is the most well-known platform. More brokers offer MT4 than MT5.
