Trading software! What software is out there and what do people use/ recommend?

as a trader you should MT-4 (Meta Trader 4)
the following trading software is out there
MT-4
MT-5
C- Trader
are going to be your DESKTOP Options
there are others but REALISTICALLY your choice will be MT-4 or C-Trader
beyond that you have Web Trading… I DON’T RECOMMEND IT
now if you want to get into testing platforms, i recommend you start with FOREX TESTER 2 and search around from there
as for trading robots… DON’T
as for forex calenders.

oh and if you check out BLOOMBERG NEWS that’s pretty cool as well

Definitely MT4 to start and MT4 Supreme Edition for more advanced ( if your broker does it)

IF WE ARE REFERRING TO TRADING BOTS… i say … don’t do it
the only time a trading robot is good is in the following circumstances

Most importantly ONLY IF YOU PROGRAMMED IT

Only to do basic mundane task for you
if you want to do this i would recommend mucking around with a programme called FXDREEMA
however keep this in mind
it is simple and it is easy to use and has a simple drag and Drop feel to it
so … if you are used to using FlowChart Software, this will be very familiar
BUT THERE’S A CATCH
you need to understand LOGIC (as in Computer Logic)
if you don’t
you need to read up on LOGIC GATES WORK
you need to know the basics of AND Gates, NAND Gates, OR Gates, XOR Gates and that sort of thing.
if you don’t know it you have no business trying to create an automated bot to begin with
lastly
TRADE COPIERS ARE A GODSEND
but there are a lot of shit one’s out there and you will spend a lot of time and probably some money figuring out that the shit one’s will close trades on you and cause you to lose money
JUST GO STRAIGHT TO THIS ONE

SET IT UP ON A DEMO TO TEST IT FIRST… ok
Now, if you are not sure what the purpose of this is
it’s like this
Let’s say i have 1 Account for trading
and let’s say 4 other people give me money to trade EXACTLY THE SAME TRADES
well. a trade copier consists of a MASTER and SLAVE terminals
you install the MASTER on Account 1
and the other accounts have the Slave on them
so… when you place a trade on the Master, IT WILL REPLICATE THAT TRADE ON ALL OTHER ACCOUNTS
that’s the way you do it if you have investors,
now… here is a smarter way to do it
when you are trading
you should have at least 1 Demo and a live account
put the Master programme on your demo
and the slave on your live account
you can switch the slave OFF like a light switch anytime you like
so… Trade on Demo and then when opportunities present themselves
YOU TURN THE SLAVE ON and it will replicate the demo trades from that point on UNTIL YOU SWITCH IT OFF
or you can do this
i personally have a Long Term Trading account
A short term that pays the bills and gives an income weekly
and a demo
i put the demo on MASTER
the other 2 on Slave
and i control it like that,
it’s a lot easier than putting down a trade then going to the other account then putting down a trade
it’s good in case you get a fluctuation in price
so… yeah Trade copiers are the way to go, but the way to go is with FX BLUE
as i hear, the majority of the industry uses them
and you can get a version where by you can use on your own network and then you can get a version where you can control the trades on peoples MT-4 accounts on the other side of the world

MT4 supreme edition I don’t think is better than MT4. It’s my review. Always voter for only MT4.
I agree i just said more Advanced, I personally use standard mt4 as i don’t like allowing dll;s which you must do to use supreme edition…
But i will add supreme does Extend on your trading capabilities
