Hi,
I was looking at charts to find out if changing interest rates moved the price and I found out that big moves tend to happen close to the date of the interest rate change, but sometimes it seemed to be shifted by a few days. (the trend start a bit before the change date)
I can’t tell for sure that it’s the interest rate that moves the price because of the “shift” that happens many times.
If you think that this very simple strategy doesn’t make sense, please feel free to tell me.
Right now I am looking for a website which has all the major economic news of the PAST, which I am not able to find out.
For example, I could find an article that confirms in advance of the said interest rate change date that the interest rate was about to change or speculations about it. That way, I would be pretty sure of the strategy.
Thank you!
