Trouble with Meta Trader 4

Hello all,

I am brand new to all of this and making my way through the Baby Pips school. I am to the point where I want to open a demo account to get a feel for how everything works. I downloaded MetaTrader 4 per Baby Pips recommendation, but I cannot create a new account.

Once I select the server, I click demo account and it takes me to the personal details page. However, the Account Type box is blank and greyed out which keeps the Next button greyed out. I’ve tried all 7 available servers and get the same result.

I realize this is a pretty dumb question, but just curious if anyone else also experienced that issue?

Download it through your broker. Or if you have the metaquotes default, which I think you are talking about, login to your broker’s server and not default server.
