At the risk of sounding creepy, I’m almost asking for friends. Lol I’m new to the whole world of forex and a business partner and I decided to get into investing. It’d just be cool if I could meet a few people on the pips to talk to thru this journey. Still in school so learning isn’t a foreign concept to me (don’t tell my profs).
Welcome, Christian. Hope you do well in this market. Your business partner is also learning or are you saying you need a business partner?

Thanks for your response Clark. I’m hoping I do well too. I’m doing pretty well with my practice accounts, but that’s not using real money lol. But I was saying that my business partner is learning just as I am, not that I’m looking for a partner. We’re currently both on babypips and have practice accounts, but just like every other industry, I figured that I should make friends with forex investors.
It’s never too bad to network well. You never know just when you might need their skills. 
Well I wish the both of you good luck, and be patient, you’ve probably got a solid year before you see any money coming in.

welcome to the lonely world of forex, where at times your best friend is the charts, staring at them all day long but trust me, with a little bit patients and knowledge, you will see how worth while it was, I wish I did forex during college, it would’ve been awesome really. I sincerely thank you jingoy! I’ve stayed up late and woke up early watching EUR/USD, so I already know what you mean.
I dont think I have come across any investors in forex.
A big chunk of us are not investors, we are pure and pure traders. In and out on both the ups and downs, some many multiple times of the day.
Others a few times a day or even week.
But there are very very few long term holders here.
You will need to learn not only how to pick your areas of entry and market timing, but also where to take profits or admit defeat and cut losses.
And finally, compounding is something that must be learned if you are going to see a good return to the time spent trading.
